- The Cancer and Nutrition Support
Project is sponsored by the The Nutrition Education and Research
Program (NERP) at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Their
website presents useful information for both patients and physicians.
It includes information published by the NERP, and also links to other
sites on nutrition and cancer available on the Internet.

- MedlinePlus Health Information, a
service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine and
the National Institutes of Health, provides users with information on
many health topics, drug information, searchable medical encyclopedia
and dictionary, and the latest medical news. Also provided are
interactive health tutorials for various diseases, conditions, tests,
and diagnostic procedures.

- The National Cancer Institute page on
nutrition is an excellent resource for information on cancer and diet.
This site contains sections on eating well during treatment, managing
treatment-related eating problems, special needs diets, recipes for
cancer patients, and some links to other resources.

You Have No Appetite: Tips to Get the Nutrition You Need
- This site, by the Mayo Clinic,
provides cancer patients with tips on how to get the calories and
protein you need when you have no appetite.

- This site, put up by the American
Dietetic Association, contains information on nutritional resources
for both individuals and health care professionals. There is
also a list of current topics and legislation related to diet and
nutrition, and a comprehensive set of links to Internet resources on
nutrition and diet.

answers questions about dietary issues that may occur during cancer
